CHAPTER 16
Gabe
The feeling of Frankie pinned under me was even better than I imagined. I wouldnât lie, I had dreamed about such a thing several times since our first kiss, and even before that, but the reality ended up being so much better.
He was warm and pliant in a way I hadnât been prepared for. Given his indomitable personality, I expected him to push back when I pinned him down. For him to remain obstinate even in an intimate moment such as this. Yet, the minute my weight settled on top of him, he fell still in a way Iâd never seen before. As if he were finally comfortable for the first time.
Maybe what he said was true. I hadnât been giving him enough. Iâd been so concerned with staying in control of myself and not holding on too tightly that I had accidentally not held on tight enough.
At least not in the ways that mattered.
Iâd tried to protect him, even to the point of almost controlling him, but I hadnât made it clear that I wanted him.
Well, if giving into my baser desires was what it would take to make him happy, I could do that.
Without breaking the kiss, I started tugging at his clothes. He moaned against my lips and tried to help but couldnât do much in his position. I ended up doing most of the work removing our clothes, but I didnât mind. In fact, it was a thrilling experience getting to handle him how I wished.
Soon, but not soon enough, he lay completely bare to my eye. Iâd moved us to the center of the bed, so his head was properly cradled by the pillows. He lay there, hands up by his shoulders and his legs partially open, in a position of complete vulnerability. He let me see everything about him, and it made me want to hide him away so no one else could ever look at him again.
Instead, I knelt between his legs and rested my hands on his knees.
âBeautiful.â
He blushed and turned his head to hide his face against his shoulder.
âNo,â I said with a stern tone. âDonât hide. Keep looking at me.â I gripped his chin and tipped his head to face me.
He squirmed and nodded but didnât try to remove my hand.
âGood. Just keep looking at me.â The praise fell from my lips much easier than words usually did just before I leaned in and kissed him again.
Without our clothing, there was nothing stopping me from feeling every inch of him. He was just as aroused as I was, and he whimpered into the kiss as our hips ground together.
I left his mouth to travel down his neck instead. I latched onto a spot that made him squirm, right at the juncture where his neck and shoulder met, and sucked until his flesh turned hot under my lips. The mark left behind was barely visible on his dark complexion, like a secret hidden in plain sight.
Farther down, I used my teeth and tongue to trace patterns over his chest.
